GREEN TEA - Camellia Sinensis – certified organic
Green Tea is one of the plants that naturally contains high contents of Fluoride. The Green Tea we use is certified organic to ensure that the plant draws its Fluoride from quality soil. The amount of Fluoride is our toothpastes are dosed in a balanced and sufficient quantity to neutralize the action of the two bacteria (Streptococcus Mutans and Lactobacillus Acidophillus) responsible for the transformation of sugars into acids in the mouth. Doing this avoids the acidification of the oral environment, and makes Green Tea a natural warrior at preventing the weakening of teeth enamel and the formation of plaque and cavities.
HYDROXYAPATITE - Natural mineral ingredient composed of
Calcium and Phosphate
Hydroxyapatite is naturally present in the composition of teeth, as it constitutes 97% of enamel and 70% of dentin. This ingredient has a remineralising action: it fills micro-cracks and pores in the dental enamel. Through this regenerative action, Hydroxyapatite helps reduce tooth sensitivity and protect enamel while keeping teeth white.
XYLITOL - Birch bark extract (natural vegetable sweetener)
Xylitol by itself is not sufficient to neutralise the fermentation process. However, acting as Green Tea’s sidekick, it strongly inhibits acidification to prevent the formation of plaque and cavities. Xylitol also plays a supporting role in re-mineralizing teeth as it helps to bind Hydroxyapatite to the enamel.
ALOE VERA - Aloe Barbadensis - certified organic
Aloe Vera is a plant with multiple beneficial properties for the skin, the mucous membranes and the gums. It promotes tissue healing of ulcerations and canker sores, and is a natural ally in reducing inflammation and tenderness of the gums.
PAPAYA - Carica Papaya - certified organic
The natural extracts of Papaya contain an enzyme: Papaïn. Papaïn naturally fights discolouration by gradually dissolving stains, tartar and dental plaque. By doing so, papaya extracts contribute to restoring the natural whiteness of your teeth.
