We are not just talking 'normal' cosmetics which may feel nice, smell nice and keep the skin hydrated, but in essence are just moisturizing outer dead skin. To really rejuvenate one has to remove that outer layer which shows all signs of ageing, revealing a much fresher and more youthful skin. RégimA is a cosmeceutical focusing not only on aesthetics but skin health.
Safely, gently and naturally RégimA helps restore the skin's youthful appearance, improving color, tone and texture, smoothing away ageing lines and uneven skin color, bringing back that glow of a good, healthy skin, irrespective of age.
By influencing the 3 spheres that govern the skin’s normal function, the objective of RégimA is to create the perfect environment to ensure prolonged skin health.
Inflammation is the body's response to injury. The inflammatory response that is triggered within the skin also results in the destruction and re-creation of cells. The inflammatory response within the body is responsible for the generation of pro-inflammatory eicosanoids, which result in the actual inflammation of cells, and in turn the associated reddening, swelling and pain. Anti-inflammatories are important for reducing the pro-inflammatory response, thus reducing the damage caused by inflammation.
Oxidation within the body is responsible for cell damage and the ageing of skin as it triggers the creation of damaging molecules called free-radicals. Internally these can start a chain of chemical reactions, potentially causing damage not only to individual cells, but also DNA. Anti-oxidants are extremely important for fighting free-radical species, and preventing oxidation that can trigger this cell damage.
Rejuvenation in the context of skin is bound within the concept of skin renewal. Skin rejuvenation as a process involves not just readjustment, but the overall re-structuring of the skin, to produce perfectly formed and healthy cell development. While this initially may imply desquamation of cells giving way to the development of healthy replacement cells, there is a lot more involved in ensuring the stable, regimented development of cells that ultimately produce smoother, younger looking skin.
